2010.07.08 - Katie Waterhouse promoted to Research Director

We’re pleased to announce that Katie Waterhouse has been promoted to the role of Research Director.

Katie joined the team in 2004 from the Learning and Skills Council in Northamptonshire where she was their Research Manager. Since then, she has established a broad portfolio of clients within the employment and skills arena addressing worklessness and promoting skills for life.

Katie said: “Six years with Ci Research has just flown by and I’m proud to be progressing my career with one of the country’s leading research companies. These are uncertain times for the public sector, but times where insightful and meaningful research is providing evidence of the value of public services - and the added value that Ci Research can offer too.”

Katie is currently working with a number of local authorities across the country to look at how to tackle youth unemployment, as well as exploring links between education, public health and achieving community cohesion. She works closely with director Andy Wright in running the Social Research Team with responsibility for delivery, project management and business development.

Andy Wright added: “Katie was already a key member of the management team here at Ci Research but her new role now includes responsibility for our people development strategy.

“The social research team at Ci Research has been a huge success and Katie’s contribution has been crucial. We’ve seen her enthusiasm, hard work and outstanding talent as a researcher. This promotion recognises her contribution.”
