2010.06.24 - And the winner is...

We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2010 Ci Research charity Spring raffle. Drum roll please...

The draw took place at precisely 1pm on the 28th May, witnessed by the Ci Research team and assorted onlookers!

The raffle was drawn by Norman Meredith, and the lucky winners were as follows:

  • LG 42” True HD LCD TV (kindly donated by Display IT): Barbara Waterhouse.
  • Blue ray player (kindly donated by Display IT): Deb Garside.
  • Iceland vouchers (kindly donated by Iceland Frozen Foods): Jake Steele.
  • High street Love2Shop vouchers (kindly donated by Facts International): Anne McGuinness.
  • Costa coffee vouchers (Kindly donated by Costa Coffee, Alderley Edge): Andy Roberts.

In total the team managed to sell £1285 worth of tickets – a fantastic team effort for a great cause. Research Manager, Gareth Hodgson, won the small prize we had organised for selling the most tickets via his complex pyramid selling scheme.

The raffle is one of a number of charity fund raising initiatives being organised by the Ci Research team as part of the company’s 20th birthday celebrations. Ci Research is aiming to raise £20,000 for two North West-based children’s hospices (Francis House and Claire House), Beechwood Cancer Care and Children in Need.

Other projects have included the popular charity book The Handbook of Life, whilst plans are ongoing for a sponsored event and charity summer ball.
